We all have strange relationships with punctuation — do you overuse exclamation marks? Do you avoid semicolons like the plague? What type of punctuation could you never live without? Tell us all about your punctuation quirks – The Daily Post
“Will I see you tomorrow?’ She asked me.
“Hm….. I don’t know” I replied.
“Is it goodbye?” I saw tears in her eyes.
“Please….don’t cry. I just can’t see you like this. I beg you. You’re gonna be OK”
“How can’t you see me like this, but you’re going to leave me, and pretending I’m gonna be OK ?” She cried.

Well….my friends say that I overuse dots and commas, and tell me not to overuse it, because it bothers the readers. I try to do what they say but it doesn’t comfort me. When I use dots in the sentence like this “Hmmm….I don’t know” or this “Please….don’t cry” I just imagine those dots refer to seconds or minutes I need to think about the next words.
And what about the commas? Sometimes I express my thought in a very long sentence, because it’s followed by the explaination, and maybe I just can’t simplify it, so I need a long sentence. I just don’t know why I choose commas in that long sentence instead of making it into some shorter sentences and using dots. I think it’s just the matter of habit and nothing’s wrong with that.
